Too bad Thom Yorke is the only one writing their music anymore.

I do miss Johnny Greenwood's burning guitar ferocity. Seems like these days they just get increasingly dribbly.

they didn't do that, the label did

radiohead would be ok with those songs being left as bsides and ep only tracks

I can't believe you think "A punchup at a wedding" is a weak song! It's fantastic! That groove that goes through the whole song, the light use of the piano that comes and goes, Yorke's vocals convey the drunk yet tense chaos that a fight at a wedding implies.

Looking cute, feeling cute.

Amnesiac had the best b-sides, even somewhat better than In Rainbows did.

I exist in a weird paradox where In Rainbows is one of my favorite Radiohead albums of all time, but Hail to the Thief is my favorite Radiohead album. In Rainbows is a really quick listen from a really emotional period of my life, but there's so much atmosphere in HTTT that perplexes and memorizes that it's difficult for me not to get excited about it.

Controversial opinion: OK Computer is one of their more meh albums. The Bends is better in my book.

Well since we're dumping out all our controversial opinions, I'll just put it all out there for the world to judge.

I find In Rainbows completely boring. It's well-written and well-produced and I get why a lot of people like it but I can't connect to it at all. King of Limbs is even worse though I respect that it tried to be interesting. Individually the songs on OK Computer can be great but the whole album combined is a bit tedious. Probably could've trimmed some fat. Thief has the same issue. If I were to rank all the albums...

Amnesiac
OK Computer
The Bends
Kid A
Hail to the Thief
In Rainbows
King of Limbs
Pablo Honey

I never liked "Creep", "Paranoid Android", or "Idioteque". I do like "Pulk/Pull Revolving Doors". I consider Amnesiac their only great album. The next four are good albums. TKOL and IR are merely okay, and Pablo Honey is the turd in the hamper (although "I Can't" is a great song).
