I really like the potential hilarity that Brandao v McGregor gives us. McGregor likes to fight at range and throw power shots so he can slip inside and throw combinations. Brandao likes to come forward constantly throwing bombs and has legitimate knock out power. He (brandao) also gasses about 2 minutes into the first round, can't seem to ever make weight and cries in typical brazillian fashion (he no hespec) if anyone even looks at him sideways. So there's potential for fireworks at the weigh ins, potential to see either an Irishman get punched to obscurity or to see a Brazillian get really sad that he can't get either his fitness or weight in check. Is brandao the guy that threatened to stab someone in the neck at a weigh in? Also I just remembered JBJ said it was well known Chael P had used PEDs for most of his career and then retracted it, and chael said he would of used him for slander if he hadn't.

Agreed. Dana went to bat for Chael many times and even recently he had Chael's back, so I doubt if Chael is gone from UFC for good. But for the moment UFC can't have Chael around as one of the prominent figures of the company until all of this dies down. If UFC does continue to do the new random drug tests that caught Wanderlei & Chael, they probably are aware that a lot of guys could get busted later this year/next year and that's why Chael can't be around them.

Wow, I was not expecting Chael to get the axe. The judgement call seems a bit excessive as one doesn't really have much to do with the other, but taking a stand (at least for now) from a PR perspective was probably the right move. I'm sure he'll be back on FOX Sports at some point.

It sucks that chael got fired since hes one of the only UFC dudes with a fun personality, but at the same time its good that they draw the line somewhere I guess. Doesnt explain why Vitor is still getting paid to fight though when he has assuredly been on 10x as many PEDs for 10x as long as Sonnen
