So we're getting a new SQ/CC next week and we have to do a welcome briefing in our office. Oh hey, too easy. Section chief calls and asks if we're doing a slide or just talking, CC doesn't care either way. gently caress slides man we're just talking, too easy. Flight CC comes down and says OH SORRY WE'RE DOING SLIDES. Oh. So. Apparently my flight CC outranks my SQ/CC now. Cool, I can make slides. I'm gonna put a big Batman logo on the front slide, I take this poo poo seriously. Got my NCOIC's approval, shot it up. "Very funny, but I need something more serious by the end of the day." Oh, right, I see what I did wrong. Used the 1960's Batman logo. I'll just toss on the Christopher Nolan logo and we're set.  We've got the SQ/CC's going away shenanigan funday tomorrow. No one wants to go but it's a "you're on leave or you're there event". COOL I'LL PUT IN LEAVE TOO EASY. Oh wait I just got a call from my NCOIC, any leave put in for tomorrow is cancelled. Oh, right. I forgot. My flight CC outranks my SQ/CC apparently, loving SHAME ON ME.

Yeah, I'm doing some very mission critical forums browsing tomorrow and not making it to the shenanigans. I may go to the "hot dog and burger no vegetables unless you count cheetos" BBQ. I don't mind the CC as a dude, but man if you have to make it a mandatory fun sports day why bother having a going away.

Checked in from a month of leave yesterday and decided to look through my e-mails while I was there. Apparently they scheduled me for a PT test on the 10th, when I was still out of the state. When I went to tell my supervisor about it she gave me poo poo for having a beard, even though I was in civilian clothes and don't work until Thursday night. poo poo never changes.

Our flight Captain told him to shut the gently caress up, in a more polite way unfortunately. She was the same captain who's rear end is why I scored so well on the pt run. Had to keep it in sight, clocked in 10 seconds behind her. Needed oxygen, felt like I was dying, but worth it. Fun times man, fun times.

Well, I didn't get the BD-700 deployment this round, they had two people drop out due to VSP, and had over 40 applicants for those two spots. I was too late to the game. But I talked to AFPC and put in for it on the April - Sept band, so we'll see what happens early next year.
