I started college and was headed to class knowing a plane (or two) had hit but it was a confusing time and no one knew how bad it was

I walk into this history class and the teacher is like 'I know something is going on but we have to get through this' and she taught a stupid loving history class while the towers were falling and actual history was happening lol

history teachers loving suck

I like high school and I cannot lie
you other seniors can't deny
that when a freshman walks in with a lunchbox in his hand
and you hit his prostate gland
you've graduated

FORUMS SENIOR CITIZEN Ask me about:
joining the AARP; Social Security; prostate exams; why rock music is too loud; wearing orthopedic shoes and prescription pant

Poor kids growing up on tobacco-free campuses. We actually had designated student smoking areas at our school. And carrying a knife on your belt was no big deal. A couple of students had gun racks in their trucks, complete with guns, so they could go hunting after school. However, we only had 5 or 6 computers (not as advanced as the Apple II), and the Internet did not exist, so I guess it's a trade-off.

Oh, and 9/11 happened after my 21 year reunion. God, I'm old...

I'm always suspicious of people who claim high school was the greatest time of their lives. Basically everyone has a much better time in college or their 20s in general.
