a lot of the movie was really good the only kind of bad parts were kiefer sutherland's overacting and how bad the telekinetic battle looked at the end

I love Dark City it's one of my top 10 ever, up there with Sleuth and Blade Runner (not the commentated one) and 12 Angry Men and Goodfellas and The Good, The Bad and the Ugly, and Shawshank's and Alien and Terminator 2 and another I don't remember right now but they are the coolest films made by man. Okay so the telekinetic battle is not the best part of the film (it's still climactic and good, just looks a bit dated is all), but you gotta agree that the injected memories scene right before that is loving amazing, also the whole rest of the movie is a masterpiece.

The thing with Dark City is that it's a movie of opposites. The first half is David Lynch level brilliance and the other half goes all the way to Uwe Boll.
