I live in plano not far from a dr. pepper bottling plant. If you look at a map of soda usage you'll find the immediate area around that plant vastly prefers doctor pepper, but while I haven't travelled internationally I can confirm that the Dr. Pepper is really lovely once you leave north Texas. I don't know what the other bottling plants are doing differently but it's night-and-loving day. I dunno if it's available elsewhere either, but they sell Dr. Pepper that uses real sugar and the original formula here in 6 pack glass bottles. I don't get it often but it kind of owns.
