I'm always surprised by how core to America God is. Like religion and god is in everything in america it seems. You can even see in the movies and the morals, everything is so related to the bible and Christianity. A lot of the time when someone makes a reference to something or a comparison its to something in the bible. It surprises me because I think Europe really has strayed far from that. We know about stuff that happened in the bible but its not even on the horizon in most people's lives. It doesn't even feature remotely.

One thing that has gotten dumb is that in ancient times people just adopted new culture's gods. like you travel across the sea and bump in to the assyrians, oh marduk sounds a bit like ra they must be the same dude high five. Now it's all like "my jehovah is the real god not your allah" and then shoot rockets at each other's kids.
