On a different note, the spell Burning Hands doesn't sound useful when the spell's effects aren't mentioned. I can just see a young apprentice running through the corridors of a castle screaming in pain while his hands are engulfed in flame, with elder wizards laughing at how the new kid actually fell for that dumb "burning hands is a useful spell" prank.
