I've never played the guitar before and I can't even read sheet music. I'll be taking request while I wait for it to ship and I'll upload a few tracks to soundcloud for you guys once I get it. Keep them simple please.

If skrilex could troll, how would skrillex troll? I'd like to do that.

Most guitarists (excepting classical guitarists) don't read sheet music. In the rock/folk worlds, mist guitarists instead read tablature, which tells you exactly where to put your fingers to play a given tune.

Don't sweat learning "the dots". And tablature is pretty easy.

But even tab is at least a few months down the road, as you'll probably want to start just by lesrning to strum a few chords. Music is pretty repetitive, so by learning just four chords you can play thousands of rock/pop/folk songs.

Repetition is my forte.
