This one allows you to jump around menus a little bit so I'm going to just reformat it some for the thread.

quote:

I was devastated. They were killed trying to save a group of children who had been out playing in a nearby field. The children made it back safely, but my parents were dead. They had been the center of my life.

The attack changed everything, putting an end to my carefree days as a child. I likely would have had a few more years of fun and innocence, but after the attack I had to get a job and become an adult.

I moved to the temple orphanage. With my parents gone, I had no home to return to. The orphanage was run by local priests. They were kind-hearted people.
I became a devoted priest.
I slipped out at night, working as a thief.

I became a thug, attacking people for money. (Needs 53 Evil)

OR

I got my own place and found a job. Life was hard as a young adult, but I earned a living.
I apprenticed at the local blacksmith.
I joined the town guard.
I became a nature guide.
I became an apprentice to a scribe.

If we want the Archbishop achievement, becoming a priest now is our only option. We're not guaranteed it if we do, however. We've got to stick with being a priest for the rest of the game.

If there is still hope and goodness in the world, this won't happen. Seriously, the first two were terrible enough; I can only imagine how bad the 'epic conclusion' will be (until a goon LPs it, then I won't need to imagine the horror).

The first book features two Mary Sues and neither one of them is the protagonist. I don't remember much about the second one, but I recall a superhero reality show, some political BS courtesy of the author, and that it failed to deliver the best possible twist.

When I was fourteen, Kimberly the bully and some of her friends cornered me in an alley. I had thought that now that I was a blacksmith, these types of things wouldn't happen. Sue didn't see it that way.

I stood up for myself and fought them off. (Needs 30 Fighting and 30 Body)
I talked them out of it. (Needs 35 Personality)
I got beaten up badly that day, but I vowed to get my revenge in the future.

We've missed our chance at the Perfect Party achievement. Not making Kimberly our friend and eventually the mean thief in our adventuring party. Oh well, we can still get the friendly cleric and iron fighter.

They had been dead for three years when I found the old chest. There was a mysterious amulet in it. Next to the amulet, there was a letter from my parents. I took the amulet and decided to follow my parents' request.
(Gained Mysterious Amulet)

I was nervous about going to the Academy; I didn't think that a troll would be allowed entry. But I decided that I would try anyway and see what happened.

Sheri was sad to hear that I was leaving.

I promised to remain true.
I suggested that we break up.
