Yeah, I think that's the first time I've actually been impressed with Bo's work in the ring. Maybe it was just the surprise of it, but I've never seen him come across like that much of threat before and that's a huge positive sign.

I love you not in spite of the fact that you're mister positivity, but because of it. Let's start there.

This Raw wasn't the wost I've seen, but it wasn't great, so I'm not talking about this Raw at all in terms of this post. But that being said, there is definitely some serious Stockholm syndrome that surrounds WWE. Maybe that term is too strong, though. But I recognize the sentiment. I had it with TNA for a long time.

I think it might be more in line with reality calling it the Sunk Cost Fallacy.

A lot of people defend horrible poo poo WWE does, from behind the curtain to on the shows, when they shouldn't.

This Raw was okay, though, so I probably shouldn't be making this point on this particular day. I just think dismissing somebody entirely for utilizing some hyperbole about a real thing isn't something I can get on board with.

I enjoyed Raw, but Naomi bringing out a 'modified' Spider Twist and ending on Brie & Steph broke my brain somewhat. Even though it's 2014 and it should have become the norm years ago, I still can't quite believe that WWE is actually managing to treat women seriously. Was Kevin Dunn secretly fired?

And Cesaro and Cena need to wrestle much more often.

It was a good promo though, glad he referenced the fact that he beat Brock last time, but this time will be different because [reasons]?

I might not walk away and get another beer/food/take a poo poo during a Divas match if they went back to calling it the Women's Division with a Women's Championship belt like they did 10 years ago.

Calling them and the division 'Divas' is like saying "Here have no one care about you while we openly womanize you."

I mean, gently caress, it's not like other sports call their women's leagues "Barbie Doll Division".

Don't worry, his 13 botches in his match with Cesaro caused by trying to prove he's actually a good wrestler and doing sloppy, over ambitious poo poo keeps my hate for him burning full force. Promo was good though.

Honestly, while the idea of Dallas going 21-Bo was a nice dream, this was better for a couple of reason: 1) it shows the other side of Bo's persona really well, 2) there isn't enough low card guys for him to beat without doing several rematches which would be boring.

As long as I still get to see Fandango v Bo, accompanied by Summer and Layla, so I can see their over the top celebration when Bo wins I'm ok with this.

I don't know that I've ever heard Jamie Noble described as a ROH star first and foremost.

Not saying you're necessarily wrong, I just always thought of him as a WCW guy since that's where I saw him first. He didn't really get a character until WWE though.

My wife pointed out last night that AJ sounds a lot like CM Punk when she cuts a promo. Now I can't not hear it. Her inflection and promo style is really similar, I wonder if it's always been that way.

Just the first thought that popped into my head. I watched his title match against Bryan the other day, so that's probably why.

They said he was on a "promotional tour", but then he appeared in the dark segment, so who knows. Smarks will probably say they're trying to cool him down since he's been getting the biggest pops, but there have been plenty of times were Cena isn't on the show, but is in the dark match.

I think it's more recent. When I started watching again in 2012 I used to mute it during AJ's promos because they were so cringe-worthy bad. She was so overly snarky that she sounded like a bad Saved by the Bell character or something. Even if she sounds like Punk a bit, it's infinitely better than her old style.

I just assume WWE has painted themselves into a corner, where now if Dean isn't around loving up Seth's life it seems really weird. So they need to find reasons to keep them apart, which is hard when you have to write like 6 hours of TV every week.

It's going to stay the Divas division since they love their silly proprietary terminology, but I do hope the belt looks less like an oversized version of a toy for 6 year old girls when the new logo belts debut after Summerslam.
