Gnome 3 classic mode is p good. It's like gnome 2 but you can't customize the panels which I never did anyways :shobon:

whoever said linux wasnt just as good as windows!!!

I'm p sure this is a problem with vmware's opengl driver. This happens occasionally in vmware vms, but I haven't seen it in virtualbox or on real hardware.
