So I was playing Wall Destroyer and I got tired of manually clicking on buildings a zillion times apiece after resetting. So I wrote a script that continuously buys the cheapest building. I thought you guys might find it useful too.

When I want to run it, I just paste it into the Firebug console window and press "Run". Not sure how you'd use it if you're using a different browser.

I have a AC save with lots of angels and the first 15 minutes of every reset is always buying ~2000 of everything. Would it be possible to write a script like that for Adventure Capitalist, or won't that work because it's written in Unity?

Completely functional for everything except upgrades requiring Angels, and the 99.999% discount for the moment.

I put in my current amounts but I'm at a loss what else to do. What is 'upgrade #'? Do I fill in 'Angels' and how the gently caress do I know how many zeroes are in a tredecillion?

There's several points where it slows down. I'm at 1900 newspapers and after a day a reset will only earn me 20% of my current angel investors.

When I ran into lulls earlier, I just reset when I felt like it, angels be damned. Eventually you'll get the next impossibly-expensive-upgrade (that's like 3 orders of magnitude the cost of the previous one) and it speeds up again.

November 4 – Game Broken!

Hey Capitalists! Wanted to drop a quick note that the game is down for reasons we’re not yet sure on. We didn’t push any updates or anything, so the problem isn’t immediately clear.

We’re working on this right now, and we’ll update when we know what’s what. Thanks for your patience!

Another update on Adventure Capitalist. SOmething is massively broken, they're working on it, your progress has not been lost, and the longer it takes them to fix it, the more you will be compensated in-game.

Anyway, back to Clicker Heroes I guess.

November 5 – Game is fixed!

Hey Capitalists! I’m pleased to announce that the market has recovered, the game is back up, and your regularly scheduled Capitalism can continue.

We’ll be working on a special “I Survived the Crash of Nov 4” compensation package, to help make up for your lost progress. I’ll let you know when that’s up and working for you.

Thanks for your patience everyone. We’re working on some backup measures that will hopefully ensure a crash of this magnitude doesn’t happen again.

That's intentional. The early stuff has a slightly higher exponential factor to cost but it's partially offset by all the free ones you get from angel upgrades and the super-expensive managers that decrease their cost. The income generally stays crap but you'll always want to buy them anyway for the achievements that multiply the income of every building type.

Also if you look at the achievements you'll notice that the more expensive stuff has lower final achievements.

In the early game, oil rigs will net you the most money. Mid-game to late-game it'll be lemonade stands, and I'm at the point now where it's actually the movie theaters that get the best cash-per-second. Newspapers are almost always the most expensive one, but they also give the best achievement bonuses.

So I'm playing Clicker Heroes off-and-on and I'm not sure I understand the ancients. Do I just try to summon and unlock a new one every reset? Do I try to collect them all? I have 2 souls right now with 4 waiting after my next (second) reset.

My question is, since my current black hole increase is 50%, should I keep working on building up to at least 150 Entire Universes before I next reset, or should I at least wait for a 55% increase?

AdCap is pretty fun right up until you hit ~2300 of everything and you hit a brick wall. After a few weeks of resetting hourly, then daily, then hourly again, it slows down to a crawl where you can't get a decent amount of angels on a reset even if you wait a week.

Well, I'd argue that the endgame _is_ getting all the upgrades/achievements. Yeah I meant that, my bad. The 'late endgame' is getting the last few upgrades, long after all the achievements are finished and there's still 6 orders of magnitude to bridge.
