Devil's Rejects was actually pretty drat good horror, rewatched it last Halloween and it wasn't because it came out during the torture porn craze. Zombie had one good movie in him, the rest sucked.

Has he made a movie that hasn't been made yet? House of 1000 Corpses -> Texas Chainsaw Massacre The Devil's Rejects -> Natural Born Killers Halloween -> Okay a remake but a lovely one that went on too long about Michael Meyers childhood Halloween 2 -> Again the original but shittier Lords of Salem -> Haven't seen it but it looks to be every 70's satanist movie ever. Maybe I miss the point of his films even as a schlock horror fan. The thing I can't forgive is that every movie he makes spends too much time trying to convince the world how hot his former crack-addict wife is.

It seems like he has the same problem as Quentin Tarantino and Zack Snyder at their worst-- you can be a really, really big fan of something great without that meaning you can make anything great on your own.
