Econometrics is the only class at the undergrad level that you actually need any of it, but it's just a little bit of extended stats and not really necessary. I would likely have to take another couple of math classes to get into some of the grad eco programs at FSU aside from the master's in applied eco.

Now they do highly recommend calc as a minimum, and one of the stats classes they recommend require calc III. A lot of the econ majors at FSU are in a pipeline to just get a master's in applied eco, though, which isn't so much focused on the math behind it but rather how to use it in a practical setting. Econometrics is usually the killer class for most people. I didn't struggle because I had already taken a bunch of calculus at that point.

Followed up with a malpractice lawyer that I know, and surface staph infections, even MRSA, are basically an implied risk associated with hospitals and not really recoverable beyond treatment because they're so common these days. If it was an infection say inside my knee following a surgery, I'd have something. Since it was just a few big itchy/painful bumps on the back of my head that I was given meds for it isn't worth even trying. Stomach is still hosed. They found nothing abnormal in the upper GI scope. I have been able to level off to just 20mg a day of Prilosec and still get relief. So now I'm waiting on the next step in trying to diagnose this poo poo.

I kept trying to work instead of shamming while my medboard was pending. Then I got charged for those t-shirts and went into full gently caress everything mode. One guy was sham king, though. Dude just flat out didn't show up for two months and just texted the guy he was mustering with. He got a world of poo poo when he was finally found out, but they didn't mast him or anything. Just chewed him out for a while and made him check in directly with the commodore or deputy for a week or two. Then he basically became a ghost again.

This goes back and forth for a bit, sequester hits, and then everyone gets really tight about any spending. Instead of just paying for his t-shirts, he assigns some guy to investigate the matter. This is two months after the shirts were ordered and delivered and the vendor still hadn't been paid. I couldn't produce the hand written task list and they decided that all my emails briefing him about the shirts, their status, etc was insufficient to show I was directed to order them. So they told me I had two options: pay for the shirts myself or they would dock my pay the grand to pay for them. That motherfucker even got one of the tshirts as well. I never even saw them, but there are 75ish sailors running around in shirts I bought for them. JAG said that my only option was probably to sue the commodore in small claims court if I wanted the money back. At the next command climate survey (which they didn't let me take) a few people blasted him about it, but he still never had the sack to admit that he personally had told me to order them or reimburse me at all for my costs.

Well, my previous doc was awesome, but he got poached by a med school in Alabama to go run the place. This new doc seems surprised every time I bring up poo poo that's been going on with me for years like it's something new to him. I get that I'm a newer patient, but it's getting ridiculous. The problem with going to any other VA clinic is the nearest next one is the one that gave me a staph infection. I've got to go all the way there for a number of procedures anyways which loving blows. What I need to do is get enough money coming in that I can just get a private plan and see a real doctor.

They overnighted me my new meds. They don't normally overnight things to me. I got some liquid for treatment of intestinal ulcers. So either they did find something in the upper GI and just haven't told me or he's just throwing poo poo at a wall to see what works. Both seem pretty plausible to me.
