i had a stereo where you could select which CD tracks you wanted to record, then tell it how long the tape was, and it would reorder the tracks to give the least wasted space at the end of the tape before you turned it over

my friend gave me some lovely 2000s stereo and for not having a subwoofer it puts out an uncomfortable amount of bass it has a little gauge that goes from green to red that says BASS POWER and a button on it to make the bass EVEN LOUDER

audio cds that were double sided, for 2 disc CD sets, and then cd players with lasers on both sides so you never had to flip them or swap discs? pretty sure i was high as balls and listening heavily to either The Wall or Tommy years and decades later they have discs that were music on one side and vide on the other, or dvds's with one version on each side
