"avant-garde metal" out there there's one band that consistently pulls it off, imo, and that is Sigh. Listen in shock as they roll from bongo fills into happy clapping along with a growling black metal chorus in japanese engrish into an organ solo, sax solo and guitar solo before wrapping things up, and that's just this one song. It's weird and goofy but they pull it off and I wish they'd tour the US once in a while.
