If they are serious, well, the move's already caused some backlash (can't gauge how serious yet, way too early to tell beyond the nebulous announcement that, all of a sudden, Hitbox had a large influx of folks.)

Heard that the YouTube exporter desyncs stuff recorded on OBS, so I'm currently trying to save all my soon-to-be-purged VODs locally which is a huge pain in the butt. Anyone have some tips on how to make it go a bit more smoothly? I'm using nightdev to download them, FormatFactory to convert the FLVs to mp4 (which is happening at a glacial pace) and at the end I'm going to try and patch them together in premiere (and do some minor cuts/editing) e: also to add insult to injury, one of the 30-minute chunks from an old past broadcast is missing. For downloading you're on your own, but for converting I really recommend doing this:Admiral H. Are you seriously asking me technical questions? We've done two streams together now and they've both been technical-issue trainwrecks. Anything more complicated than "push button to start" will usually need some elbow grease. But I'm not talking about streaming, I'm talking about viewing.
