good thing I'm a giant hipster and the stuff I listen to is mostly unsigned artists.

also a simple pitch shift on the stream gets right past the filter.

oh yeah it's on the player too so in like 3 hours someone will make a thing that fixes it (you can already just download the whole video)

I'd say I was the kind of user that watched a lot more VODs than streams so this pretty much kills the site for me. Not only that but I know people that specifically didn't stream on youtube simply because twitch let them play music while they gamed and now that's gone as well so...

Yeah. The worst is probably how they claim they are doing it to "help broadcasters."

I did enjoy how Hitbox immediately began cannibilizing users though, that was funny.

it's to help us keep them from possibly having to pay one of their lawyers to argue that their TOS said it was against the rules so they're not liable.
