I have the Japanese laserdisc. You can find copies on DVD on ebay, but they are usually VHS rips from the European version. As far as I know, Disney has never gone after people who sell them.

It makes me feel privileged that I have a copy of this on VHS. Even given the racial overtones the animation was pretty drat good.
