There is one really, really stupid plot change in OGs that annoys me, but that's not till probably months from now. It's a shame we never got this overseas though, played the GBA ones and loved them.

I forgot that Garnet and company (aka best pilot and deadweight) showed up this early. They are really just the best, and the currently unnamed little girl is one of my favorite characters.

Latooni is the rare child prodigy character that is actually well written and explained beyond "magically just that good." She's one of my favorite characters.

I prefer having the scenes split up at their appropriate spots in the post. It's a lot easier to follow. Also gently caress off, Axel Almer. I'm glad the remake at least hasn't changed how much of a dumbass he is. So... when does OG2 actually start?

I completely forgot about this enemy faction entirely. So for those who aren't paying attention, we're up to the Neo DC, the assholes from the school under the Neo DCs, the mysterious "Shadows" backing them, the Einst, and now these jerks. This game is absurdly complicated.

Sleigh is the worst and the entire TD arc is terrible to the point I wish it was just excised from the game. Ibis basically warmed the bench the entire game except when she was force deployed for me in the GBA version. Also it's really weird they just give us Ratsel instead of Elzam in this game. Where the hell did Elzam go anyways?

I don't think she technically survived, if I was reading that correctly, but part of Judecca fell to earth and started regenerating itself.. including the pilot. Dr. Kobyashi found it before it could regen the killer robot part and pull Mai out, much to his surprise.

The Royal Heartbreaker is the greatest combination attack, and the Fairlions are amazing.
