Okay, so my Fighter doesn't actually die until the end of the wave, right? So I'll transfer a damage to my Knight to keep him kicking, which is a free action.

How do corpses work? Do they block lines or are they just ignored?

mostly they're just blocking you from placing a new dude there immediately. some leaders have special rules regarding them (adjenna's leader ability is brutal). if you're going to revive them using i think the only PixTac 1 card that can do it (priestess), you gotta leave them put, can't save them after they're cleared

I'm not sure the Paladin can attack like this. There's a friendly unit in front of her (the Trapper), so she wouldn't be able to make a melee attack:

See, the funny thing about damage being able to go into negatives is, sometimes you want to put in that overkill so you can make it a lot harder to save their hero.

Paladin will shoot the fighter, Dragon Mage will shoot the knight. Unless the knight takes all the paladin's damage, in which case the dragon mage just shoots the fighter again.
