You need to get air conditioning to cool down your apartment and warm the rest of the planet faster.

Not only do I have two monitors on because I have to stay awake all night for work but I'm also doing laundry. I'm dreading the hot, hot laundry in about an hour.

Real hurthling! posted:get a fan and put it on high and sit right next to it and you will never feel hot. In the Navy at Great Lakes(by Chicago), we had to live in these big brick buildings over the summer. We had wool blankets with bedsheets. The only way we could sleep was to point fans blowing directly at our feet. It works really well. Hang your feet out the end of your covers with a fan blowing on them. Cools your whole body off.

I am a big fat dude who feels constantly warm in almost all situations. So of course, I have a job that requires me to spend most of the weekend outdoors in the sun. It loving sucks. I leave my house AC on constantly and often have to sleep with that AND also a fan running on me. I'm a daredevil to people who believe in fan death, I guess. So far my strategies have been to stay in the shade as much as possible, drink lots of cold drinks, sometimes use a portable fan, buy that spray on sunblock that supposedly has a cooling feature, and some experimentation with fever/headache sheets like Arino uses. It still never feels like enough to really be comfortable. Give me pro tips for staying cool outdoors.
