I played this game a little more then a month ago for the first time .. And now I think I will buy the imperial raider in May. I did not know that my childhood love of starwars figurines would come and haunt me. The game is seriously addicting.

My bwing and hwk list:

Drea renthal, ion cannon, unhinged astromech , 22+6.
Kavil, outmaneuver, blaster turret, engine upgrade, a4 astromech. 24+13. I assume that a4+ blaster have synergy. Not sure about the elite skill. How does outmanouver work with turret? Only primary weapon firing arc?

Palob Godalhi deadeye, blaster turret, engine upgrade, moldy crow, recon specialist . 20+ 15. blaster + deadeye+ recon spec seems nice.

Will be fun to try out on Wednesday when I get to play again.

No hwk? And I think you are missing the mangler cannon which could be a nice upgrade. You could get a scyk for the upgrades.

What is up with the points difference of B- wings and Tie - Defenders. I mean omg it can do a white k- turn but the rest of the dial is nothing special. 8 points is to much. They should cost the same or similar.

There are so many things that cause crits or stop your green dice ( Vader, autoblaster ect) that shields are getting underrated in my meta at least. At the moment the defender is unplayable in my group.

I guess the Starviper is priced correctly compared to B- wings and defender. B- wings is the best ship in comparison and with the pilots available.

True it will not come along if this is what I go for . It is not the fixed list though. I could change mangler cannon and recon spec for.. Auto blaster and tactician or something :) and then maybe ad stealth device or targeting computer to the int. The only one I am satisfied with is the phantom. Such a pain with that loadout.

I have had bad experiences with the ion cannon. Can go flechette cannon for maximum stress with tactician and then reb captive on the phantom :) I will try and get many games with these three in before mid May. Flechette and tactician should stack at range 2?

Yeah it's more a fun option for practice games. The line up I posted will probably be the final one. I wish I had room for atleast one bomb though. They never work but people play around them.

My main nemesis ( and buddy) is looking at a list with Dash and 2 A- wings for maximum mobility. I am working some psychological warfare to have him go with the hlc on dash so that he has the donut hole. I don't want to play to much with the mangler so that he catches on :)

I played a epic game yesterday vs the Corvette. Managed to blow up the front but that just meant that he could ram me with impunity. The support dudes all went in and blocked my guys setting them up for his 5 dice barrages with Han re- roll. Poor Soontir lasted one round of shooting with autothrusters and stealth device. Best preformer vs it was a 50 point Rexler with hlc , stealth device and ruthless ( where one ship within 1 gets a hit as well) but it was still a rout. Game was 300 points. It was fun though! Rexler + Jonus+ Vader with missiles had super synergy and will be worth remembering.

Yeah new rule is decloak and do the decloak move. Then everyone moves as normal according to ps. So a low ps phantom is now ok to use as a blocker.

Wohoo played two games today and won both. Scum vs empire and empire vs rebs. My opponent was in a funny mood and was just using basic units with limited upgrades. Used scum Cat with two star wipers and a fun stress empire build with helix with reb captive and a phantom with Mara jade backed up by carnor jax. Felt like I broke a loosing streak and it was nice to not get to bite the pillow vs super dash.

Also how does it work when you fly a small swarm z95s and you can not kill Fat Han. You loose a few and he just keeps circling using C3PO, R2D2, Lando.

Just got back from a Regional Tournament with players from at least 5 countries. The Final was played 2 almost identical lists. 4 Scum y-wings vs 4 Scum y-wings. One had the title but no Kavil and the other had no title and Kavil and bombs. Both had cannons , I think a mix of ion and auto.

The no Kavil and no bombs but with the title won. It was not that close . The highlight was the only bomb that was dropped that damaged 3 y-wings turning in to it. To bad it was a seismic and not a proton .

My Tournament and my list sucked but I had a blast none the less. Highlight was playing against a 5 bomber lists that sucked as much as mine!

Bro-bots are great but you can counter them with high pilot skill pilots that move around them or keep them in your primary firing arc so that they do not get autothrusters. They are still great and you really need to fly great vs them.

Tie fighters go woeeee! So much I hope we can all agree on. I also sing Dash aha.. ( flash) every time I mention him to the annoyance of my opponents. And push it to the limit sounds like an 80s pop song so that needs to be sung to.

Should I get another shuttle? I mean with cannon ,gunner and engine upgrade they are pretty beefy. And then add fire control system or sensor jammers and they are like uber B-wings. ..maybe I should get 2 more.. One for Vader as well. Are 3 shuttles a thing?

I found a fun use for Kaato Leeachos ! You give him bodyguard ! I don't know if anyone has run this but he seems perfect for it. He and Serisou and something else (zs or hwk with recon) would be fun.

Bought a few extra ties and made a full 7 swarm with howlrunner. Won all three games I played against my regular opponent. The power of the swarm was fantastic! Also the importance of formation flying made it more fun then just a few big ships.

Did some DIY today and painted 7 different color markings and target locks. Always such a pain to see what target lock goes to who. No my team will be color co- ordinated. Also painted the button at the back of my moment templates so that I don't accidentally pick up my opponents.

The reb Y wing pack comes with 2 named pilots and 2 generics. If you get 2 s&w as well you will have 3 ywings so you can run a gold and a gray squadron and one of the named ones. Or 2 thugs and kavil from s&w. You will have 2 binary pirarte cards and 2 black sun soldiers cards.

I just realised that scum y- wings with unhinged astromechs are better dog fighters then almost anything head to head. Just played vs 2 with the title and ion cannons and vs kavil with expert handling ( really good on him). Frigging y wing arc dodgers doing green 3 turns and the kavil barrel rolling around.

Ion cannon cares about shields in the sense that you remove one for the damage. Would be cool if it by passed shields and did the damage straight to the hull.

Try Vesser with vet instinct and hlc, soontir fell with ptl and autothruster and a doom shuttle =) It works quite well.
