A plan just came to mind. If we think we can do so in a way he's not equipped to detect, either replace or adulterate the BONE with something that will make its users violently ill for a short period. This will result in a lot of dangerous people being very angry at Devries

Ideally we should keep the skulls spread out enough that nobody notices we're doing this.

Plan Tomn I really don't want Devries to get a foothold, and continuing to get in good with the inquisition seems prudent. Tomn's right about staying balanced, though. What did he put in our palm? It wasn't the electoo, and I can't see any description other than "device".

We'll not be getting the Lord Sire's favor if we don't show some willingness and ability to benefit the family as well as ourselves, and we'll be far more useful to the inquisition long term if we have that favor.

Memetic weapons are scary as hell. Can we use our technical knowledge to heavily process it in some way (say, render it as ASCII art) that will likely render it inert but still get us some intel?

E. A, but only after heavily reprocessing it to defend against memetic hazard. Try to make sure this is indicated on the tag that shows that we've watched it.

Yeah, this seems less like us being a disappointment as a Family member and more the Lord Sire wanting us to demonstrate that we can do the thing that being a Rogue Trader is all about, i.e. make a profit. Expelling enemies and fighting battles and replacing lost equipment is great and all, but we need to be able to actually generate direct income too if we want to have a chance as his successor.
