You know you're having a bad day when a Cylon ambush would improve it.
Starbuck: are you thinking Armory or launching in the Assault Raptor? Whichever you do, I figure I have to do the other (or, well, I'd take a Viper, not the AR) when my turn comes around. Or, if you get a lucky shot off in the Armory, I could XO you to go launch yourself.

I'd be nice to get out in the raptor to make the most of my static. A cent on space one isn't the biggest worry

A centurion is actually a sizable worry because it's an instant game over; yeah, there's time, but sometimes dice hate you and you have less time than you think.

At least we've got two vipers sitting there with the civvies already. It wouldn't be that much of a problem card if we weren't on no jump whatsoever.

There's columns on the crisis card page, something like 'Raiders: 1 x 2, 4 x 2'. Sector + number of ships.

Yeah, it's unfortunate that there isn't, say, a open-source boardgame engine out there with a BSG module and expansions that has all the cards stored as images. One that stores its modules as zip files with changed extensions, preferably.

But even if I had all those card images, I usually just type up a text description of those columns instead of uploading the card, because it feels like less effort.

Um. Anyway.

I know I'm XOing Starbuck this turn (up to you whether you still want to go to space and pay the skill card, or take a couple Armory shots), but I don't know whether I should plan on taking an Armory shot myself or Scouting the Crisis deck in the hope for maybe someday actually seeing jump prep. Thoughts?

The president's office wouldn't be bad either. Heck, might even pull an Authorize Brutal Force that way.

I could do that, but that sounds like a lot of extra work.

I'd personally say 'killing the Centurion' comes before jump prep, even in this kind of situation. The civvies are covered for the moment, we could always just lob a nuke+strat plan at that basestar and his buddies, but that thing can straight up end the game.

I do want to get over there, but a single Armory shot, even unplanned, has better odds than a single Quorum pull. If I thought I were likely to get an XO in a couple turns (probably kill a Basestar first?) it'd be different, I guess.

Really I was hoping Starbuck would get lucky with that shot.

Ooh, hm, comms. I'd rather wait an activation on that, though, so we aren't dragging the raiders in 1 through our vipers.

Since you're shooting, I'll hope you get lucky and go Scout myself.
