Yes. Also, guns.

No, no, this is great. If the game manages to kill us off pre-Sleeper, we could actually have a game where no one wins, hypothetically.
|
# ? Aug 23, 2014 21:05 |
|
At this rate its going to kill us before we even get any damned jump prep.

We'll just have to make do with what we've got. That Centurion still needs to be scrapped; we can play for time in space. ## Move to Communications and Play LEA 1 - Executive Order on Starbuck.

I Have No Jump Prep And Must Scream Standoff With Pegasus? Really?
|
# ? Aug 23, 2014 21:50 |
|
Obviously that's why it isn't there.
|
# ? Aug 23, 2014 21:51 |

I just double checked to make sure I didn't frak anything up and yeah, all the Crises drawn have have No Jump.
|
# ? Aug 23, 2014 21:54 |
|
Well. Uh. Up to you guys, really, I'm going to be worthless for checks until my turn rolls around again.
|
# ? Aug 23, 2014 21:59 |

You know, it occurs to me that while I've been filtering out the Pegasus skill cards, I haven't done the same for the Crises. Since this is a Pegasus Crisis, do you guys want me to skip it? I can start filtering out the rest of them.

I realise it's a hell of a check to take a Mulligan on, but I'd suggest it's probably appropriate to, yeah.
|

Leave them in, this is amazing!
|
# ? Aug 23, 2014 22:07 |
|
.... it's a trap, the next Crisis is gonna be another CAC. At this point, I'd probably say just leave them in. I guess technically they're a source of Executions when we otherwise aren't playing with them, but meh.
|
# ? Aug 23, 2014 22:17 |

I would rather play without Pegasus entire, to be honest. I thought that's what we were doing when we yanked the skill cards.

Ellen's right there, dude. Rude.

Vote count is 2 for, 1 against. Two players left to vote.

If we aren't playing without the benefits of having Pegasus we shouldn't have to deal with the pegasus crisis cards either. I really hate changing things like that ingame but its pretty unbalanced.

For what it's worth, my 'vote' is more of a "meh, that sounds like effort" than a "no, I am actually strongly opposed to this".

Jump prep? Why I never

I'm pretty sure even if we could pass that check we'd still take the OR just in case. But we can't pass that check.

-1 Food. Not a difficult decision this time around.

I'm not really sure what the plan is with the cent dead but space still jam-packed. Cram XOs down our pilot's throats and spit vipers out everywhere, I guess?
|

The fleet loses 1 Food. Raiders activate! A bunch of Raiders buzz towards the back. Sector 4 Raiders fire! Roll d8=4! MISS Roll d8=8! VIPER DESTROYED Roll d8=3! MISS Roll d8=1! MISS Roll d8=7! VIPER DAMAGED The fleet finally gets its FTL drives spinning up.

Moving Vipers is hard under Event Horizon. Moving civilians, however, works fine for some reason. I suggest we do that.
|
# ? Aug 24, 2014 04:30 |

Gravity Well is still in effect and your pilots are both out of PIL. If we have civs left after this activation (fake edit: and we do), it's probably time to start using Comms to kite the raiders around the board. If we get a moment to breathe, Starbuck might still appreciate an XO to get into space to use her static, though.

While we wait on Wolery, a question for you all: if the game state stays more or less as it is (civs still alive, no new CAC) do we jump at -3? If the civs die, do we jump at -3?

Okay, if Wolery doesn't post in the next 24 hours (Noon, PST), I'm going to find a replacement. Am I being too harsh?
