i'm going out on a limb and saying "telephone number" for those whom have replaced most/all IM clients with text messaging, so long as its optional i can't see people getting heartburn over it. i'd wager most everyone is on unlimited text plans at this point too so you don't have scenarios where people are more than "slightly annoyed" at all the texts they receive plus it would open up folks to getting wildly inappropriate telephone calls to be broadcasted for the world to hear also when the world ends, it will be me and a pornbot left on AIM Bivens fucked around with this message at 03:39 on Aug 19, 2014 |

Steam, PSN/Xbox stuff would be cool, I don't think Twitter or YouTube would be an issue, but Facebook/Google+/LinkedIn is too close to the fire, so to speak. Don't need to help people play internet detective. Thank you Mr. Lowtax, sir.

Have tumblr but if anyone puts something in it, it bans them. I just use facebook and occasionally twitter when I want to let steam off and say dumb things to people. I dunno, that'd probably cover 90% of people. Perhaps it might be more useful to use maybe 4 or 5 dropdown menus with many social media site options within so users can select their favourite backwards-rear end social network while also keeping the list of fields concise.

Steam, twitter and other. I know a few goons irl, but I don't think I would want random goons adding me on facebook. seems like a disaster waiting to happen for idiots who don't know how to lock poo poo down or forget. those goons that I do know are there already. functionally SA is a (mostly) public discussion place - so I think social networks geared towards that are the go. maybe 2 other fields. other gaming platforms than steam would be a pain and probably require maintenance every few years.
