For Red/Green, I'd think you're in just about the same shape as if it was on a green field. I feel bad for red/green people and red jersey teams.

Seems like SHSU wants to be a passing offense and this QB is throwing things about 3 feet too high.

You know it's football season when someone on TV mentions Texas Tech and Baylor as examples of the same offense and makes me unreasonably annoyed because they're really quite different.

I think it's just the pace he was talking about. Though Baylor's not as much of a pace team as TTU is.

Huh? Check again.

It was accurate. TTU had nearly 90 plays per game, Baylor had 85.

To quote the great Bill Connelly:
Adjusting for run-pass ratio (since runs are less likely to result in clock stoppages), here are the 10 fastest offenses in the country in 2013 according to Adjusted Pace:

BYU (14.3 plays greater than expected)
California (plus-12.8)
Texas Tech (plus-12.5)
Baylor (plus-11.7)
Virginia (plus-9.9)
Nevada (plus-9.9)
Fresno State (plus-9.4)
Arizona (plus-8.9)
Washington (plus-7.8)
Clemson (plus-7.5)

There were plenty of good offenses on this list, but only one not only took pace to its logical extreme, but did so consistently. That, of course, would be Baylor's, which finished fourth in Off. F/+.

So, technically Tech runs an offense 7% faster than Baylors, but Baylor actually does stuff with that pace that makes people smile.

drat, you just smugged out there. Way to go, you're now the worst Baylor poster.

Hoping that ESPN is simply getting their talking points out of the way early as this is the first game and the first time these guys have had an audience in 8 months. This has been pretty terrible commentary and I'm already tired of hearing them talking about the antitrust and playoffs.

GSU is in the heart of downtown Atlanta.

The Dome is sadly the closest, with Bobby Dodd Stadium being the second closest.

All the more reason for them to build up the Braves complex areas.

They could borrow one of the 3 HBCU stadiums that are a few blocks West of the Georgia Dome. 2 of them are one-sided fields.

There are a couple of lots just south of the practice facility, but I don't know that there would be enough room to build a full stadium there. Maybe.

I wish there was a rule that play cannot be stopped if the play is a trick play, announce it to the refs and sort penalties out afterwards so I can see how cool the idea was.

I think that one was just a screwup. The kicker wound up with the ball and threw a forward pass to the QB. But a double pass fake XP would be fun.
