Haha they cut off the last word of this guy (he's German) so he just says "In Denmark, zoophiliac actions are". Actually, why did they get a German to offer his opinion? Is he one of the busses full of tourists?

So far as the logic against bestiality goes, animals can't consent to sex and therefore its rape/abuse? Wouldn't that apply to breeding animals for livestock (or as pets) or hell I mean they prolly don't consent to getting killed for food either. Seems like kind of a weird moral line to draw. I think if most animals had to choose between a bj and getting slaughtered they'd opt for getting their hob gnobbed.

I mean if you look at it that way yeah. If you reduce it to logical absolutes and that is your reasoning behind why it's bad then you probably can't take a logical moral position where you're both a meat eater and against bestiality But luckily humans are irrational and subjective and quite happily use different moral frameworks for different problems every minute of every day

The point of animal cruelty laws is that you can't be pointlessly and excessively cruel to animals. You can't get a sausage without killing something, but that doesn't mean you should get to disembowel cows alive.

Its icky for sure, but there doesn't seem to be a tangible or non hypocritical reason to legislate it outside of existing animal cruelty laws and there certainly isn't a leg to stand on with respect to the consent angle when we don't care about animal consent for literally anything else in their lives.
