He is also one of the people whose very first models were already painted on the higher end of what most people consider really good tabletop. Clean highlights, thinned paint, good color choices, no detail left unpainted. He just showed up to combat patrol events with half his patrol painted, half grey and the painted models looked better than those painted by 10+ year vets at the time.
