One step at a time, man. You've got to break them of their fear of it first, then work up to actual use and application. Show them that, no, you will not die a horrible melty death in the presence of deodorant.

I actually will, as they only deodorants that don't cause rashes and intense burning for me are functionally useless. The crystals they do nothing. It's me, I'm the proto ham.

I actually think the wet nurse is less objectionable than most the other females or at least I would in a different context. Most the women are basically just porn, which is weird and creepy.

The wet nurse as a weird maternity godess, while explicit makes sense and could be more or less fine with minor tweaks. Given the context, however, it comes across as fetishitic and creppy.

Wow that's complicated. Haven't even painted my first miniature yet, largely because every single time I'm about to start there's apparently some new step with the paint in the bottle not actually being a finished product or the primer not liking the weather or the kits including accessories that the models aren't actually allowed to use. Next I'll have to praise the freaking machine spirit in the brushes before every brush stroke. The barrier to entry in this hobby is really irritating.

Just paint, man. It's fine.

The difference is one group are animals with human characteristics (Mouseguard, Redwall, Brer Rabbit etc etc) and the other are humans with animal characteristics. The former has a fine tradition in our cultural norm, the latter is just associated with internet squick.

There were some pretty charming Mouseguard-style miniatures that Reaper(?) put out a while back. Cute and absolutely not-creepy whatsoever.

I love the dark sword critter line, but I don't think that is what they have in mind.

I enjoyed painting infinity, and I think it's relatively easy to make them look really good due to the sculpt quality. That said true scale can be terrifying if you aren't accustomed to it.

Most of their poo poo looks like that, and it's terrible and it gets decent to good ratings on CMON.

You can also turn them into flamingo yard ornaments, which I've been thinking when combined with some random tires and some 3d printed beer bottles would make an excellent basing scheme.
