Like i've never seen a better racer. yeah, some games are a bit "holier than thou" sporting many 'options', read: useless poo poo no one actually wants. I'll tell you what people want: being able to fly a goddamn plane. yeah, you can drive 3 different vehicles. dont see that in every racer do ya? gently caress no. The powerups are very, very balanced. meticulously I would say. The people that go for the blue 'spped' powerups are just as likely to get shot by the people who take the red 'rocket' powerups as the people who take the green 'defense' ones. there are many characters who have different strengths and weaknesses. pixie is the best at turning, but conker has better acceleration. this nuance leads to many very, very close races & battles.

literally everything you just said is in sonic racing transformed, but it also doesn't run at 15 fps, has tracks that are actually interesting, has a focus on chaining boosts the entire map so you go really fast and doesn't cut out the music when you play multiplayer it even has the same gimmicky single player
