I have a pretty deep voice but when I'm high it gets really weak. I was high when I recorded that track from earlier. I don't have anyone to buy weed from anymore but if I did and I could afford it I would definitely pick some up just to help me write. |

I feel really weird when I write in public though. I'd love to go to the coffee shop and just listen to some beats in the study room and write some lyrics but, if you're in public writing lyrics people look at them and can tell they're lyrics, and then they read them over your shoulder and that makes me really uncomfortable and I second guess everything I write |

usually i will hav to walk away from the mic for 10-20 mins coz i cant get it right then i come back and bam perfect... well not perfect but good enough to start mixing haha |

Yeah that too. That's why I'm not even trying to book anything. I don't feel solid enough to remember everything and do everything right. When I do record it usually takes me several takes (I don't record on separate channels or anything because I don't have the equipment, I don't even have a cheap mic, I record on my phone). I did an Open Mic a while back and it was ok but I only did one track and I was practicing it all day. |

And it probably is anxiety. I don't know. I feel like smoking weed saps the aggression out of me, and I need that aggression when I hit the mic. I just feel too laid back and chill and that doesn't really jive with the style of what I write. |

An d it took me a really, really long time to stop writing things that just sounded like I was biting on my favorite emcees. I feel like I've finally kind of developed a flow that has its own sound. When I use Atmosphere beats I'm generally writing something really similar to the original, like even biting a few lines (intentionally) and making it in to my own take on the same song, but even then I can switch it up and a few bars can actually sound like me. I think it's a good combo. |

I can't even compare that album to other hip hop albums.
