Just speculation about the new show is all.

And you're using completely baseless speculation to judge a show that hasn't even aired? Alright then.

This is the second time I've ever watched a show on television while it's airing. I caught the last half-season of Breaking Bad after marathoning the whole series while it was on break. I'm only three episodes into Season 2, never watched Season 1. I'm ready for the ride, I'm excited!

Did only one of her feet have nail polish on it? That's oddly specific.

They're building so much suspense for something that was already in all the commercials and teasers! This doesn't seem like it's going to be very scary, but I like the period.

^^ This episode's supposed to be 90 minutes, right? Probably just a slow burn. Oh man, this is a cool-rear end opening! Do the other seasons have slick openings like this?

Those opening credits were ridiculously awesome.

Calling it "American Horror Story", IMO, is a bit of a misnomer. The "horror" in the series is usually of a disturbing or emotionally distressing nature. The show is one which delights in making its viewers cringe rather than horrify them in a traditional manner. It usually works very well, I think.

I agree with you that it's more about emotionally distressing situations than anything but I wouldn't say American Horror Story is a misnomer. All the concepts are inspired by actual, American horror stories, after all.

Is anyone having problems with the audio? The background music is way too loud and the dialogue too low. I can barely hear what anyone's saying. I remember this problem with Coven. I've never had this issue with anything else, even Sons of Anarchy lovely montages are fine (the volume that is)
