I feel like Freeman might catch more passes than Peterson, and the Rams have a really good front 7. Leaning towards Freeman and Charles. Thoughts?

^ good one. It slipped me the first read around.

Espn .5ppr, standard roster

Pick one:

Trent Richardson @ DEN
Jeremy Hill @ BAL

I've seen what Hill can do but he is going up against a stout run D playing at home. He is second fiddle for now until we can get a definitive look at his usage. I am high on him for the season, but we just don't know how extensive his usage will be.

I feel that with the loss of Danny Trevathan, the middle of the DEN defense will be softer, which is TRich's bread and butter. I am prepared to be disappointed by him over the long run, but while he is fresh and on a leash I think his greatest chances for production will be early.

Wayne. Just feel better about him seeing more on-field time. If Broncos take an early lead, they have enough weapons to where they might limit Welker.

In your position, I would start Hill. Sproles and Woodhead would be more intriguing with any sort of PPR. At the end of the day, I think Hill gives you the best chance of getting a TD.

Looks good. Ignore everyone who says you should start Gerhart over Bush, Gerhart is a terrible lovely running back and should not be started under any circumstances because he is Toby Gerhart.

Suave Fedora

Um he did pretty fine backfilling for AP. What remains to be seen is how he does as a bellcow, sure, but talent and volume can both equal fantasy production in various ratios. Most people wouldn't tell him to start him over Bush anyhow.

ESPN standard scoring.

Current and only QB is Romo. The best QBs available are Flacco, Fitzpatrick, Geno, and Cassel.

I was looking for a backup QB (Gordon drop pending), and it looks like Smith would be my best option. Then I got looking at matchups...

Would it be dumb to start Geno Smith (VS Oakland) week 1 instead of Romo (VS SF). Is Cassel a better pickup than Smith in general?

Definitely not Randle. The Giants had a horrid preseason and a big part of that is Manning & Randle being out of sync.

Gerhart will give you a guaranteed 6-8 points based on volume. If you want to roll the dice, I'd try Benjamin.

Because in drafting another strong QB like Luck early, you probably made yourself weaker at another position. I never draft a backup QB because ideally you'll only use that backup one week. Trade one of them to a QB needy team.

Also having both QBs causes you to agonize over who to start every week.
