The metric system is better, except there is no reason to use Celsius over Fahrenheit. They are both based on arbitrary things which don't really matter.

Metric is better because it's much easier to convert between units and use in mathematical equations.. There's nothing like that for Celsius.

Yeah, and not having to use negative numbers is pretty useful. That's basically the reason kelvin is better, a reason which celsius does not have.
