Androc posted:Let's be real here, this party is going to have five gunsmiths and one objectively incorrect person. Accurate. I was mostly just saying I'm going rogue.

I asked this over PMs because I didn't want to doublepost, but I may as well post it here. Does two-fisted shooter work for pistols and stack with speed loader?

Because I'm the kind of guy who can't settle on anything, I've got a question to ask. The book says you can make bayonets with daggers and guns to basically be wielding both at the same time. Can I bayonet a wand with with a gun?

What do you mean by high strength? Can I get by on 15 or 16?

Meriele, Totally Not Eladrin Paladin | Yerasol Veteran Most eladrin women have two choices. Either join the Vekeshi or end up in what amounts to slavery. But sometimes one gets out of that cycle. Through skill and luck, they manage to avoid the slavers and make their own life. Meriele was one of those. When she was younger, she was taught the ways of Vekesh, although being a eladrin woman, she never seemed to be able to choose her own path. So one day, she ran away, vowing to make her own way in life. In the early days she posed as a non-eladrin elf. It wasn't really the most elegant disguise. Luckily the first person who found out didn't actually want to turn her in. A cleric of the Clergy, he wanted to help her find her own path. So he taught her how to blend in better. To dye her hair and cut her ears to look human. To look more masculine and wear heavy armor to look like a male. The only thing that she couldn't really hide was her long life, but by travelling around and changing her name from time to time, she could deal with that. The cleric also taught her the ways of the Clergy. To help with travelling around. Meriele decided to become a mercenary, fighting in various conflicts around the world. She fought in the Third and Fourth Yerasol Wars under different names, although some of the veterans of those wars might recognize her. Nowadays, she pretends to be a human out of habit. She has enough clout and is strong enough to not really worry about slavers.

Carver the Skeleton Ardent (Revenant) Theme: Eschatologist Five years ago, Carver was a regular human working for the RHC. His last job as a human was to escort an important shipment from Drakr to Flint by sea. Why it had to be from sea, Carver had no idea, but he'd learned not to ask these questions too often. Unfortunately, on transit, the ship was struck by a freak storm and sank. The RHC wrote off the shipment and listed Carver MIA since his body hadn't been found. That is until recently. On a beach close, a figure was seen dragging a box out of the sea. As people got closer, they saw that the figure was a skeleton! Guards were quickly called and surrounded the skeleton. They were even more surprised when the skeleton pulled out an RHC badge. It was old and a bit covered in barnacles, but quite clearly still a badge. Constables from Flint were called to interrogate the figure. To the constables, the skeleton explained that he was Carver and had been dragging the crate across the bottom of the sea for the past five years. You see, he had gotten a bit lost and stumbled upon some merfey. After eventually getting past the language barrier, they managed to strike a deal. The fey would guide Carver back to Flint for something on his part. Carver didn't reveal what he actually had or has to do, saying he promised not to. Unfortunately for the RHC, Carver represented a bit of a problem. Technically, since he was listed as MIA, once he showed up and was checked over, he would be reinstated as a constable and due to some poor writing of the rules, him being dead didn't actually matter. He just had to be willing and able, two things he clearly was. While they were figuring out what to do with them, Carver starting mingling with the lesser constables. While some were scared of his appearance at first, they quickly warmed up to him, due to how charming he was. This combined with the fact that they'd have to pry his badge out of his cold dead hands, which no one really felt like getting near, convinced the RHC to reinstate him on the caveat that he'd be on probation.
