nomadologique posted:it is obviously that horrible ten foot death worm that people posted earlier in this thread, and is going to get really loving big and mean and kick you off the lease and replace you with its girlfriend/boyfriend worm dude, no way, these have very definite pincers and legs, totally not like that worm. The legs are articulated like bug legs, not bristles like the bobbit worm. Also they are only pale dead white with fleshtone bodies. My working theory is that the skin of the body must be thin because you can sort of make out internal structures a little bit, but it's very indistinct. But they're constantly in motion and never rest against the glass so that I can see it clearly Also I have not seen the freeswimming worms from the OP in a long rear end time. Now that I think about it I haven't seen Berg the emrald crab in a few weeks too I have a mega old pice of poo poo cameraphone I guess I can try to get working if I find it https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TdaM5Mv-TTo

press your rear end to the glass for a few hours, then quick, get to staples or somewhere with a public copier and copy that poo poo before the impression fades, take the copy over to a scanner and scan, upload -- voila

Good, her kids are starting to get big. She's not quite as bright orange as when I first got her, getting a little hoary, but she's still frisky. This is what i'm gonna do: eat lunch start the water change when the water's lowered, i'll try to catch one of these things and take a pic of it I found the cameraphone but the autofocus is hosed up and doesn't work, so I can't take a pick thru the glass https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TdaM5Mv-TTo

wasn't able to actually catch one, but I was able to expose one. They aren't crabs or worms. Some kind of weird elongated arthropod. I don't think the one i dug out is big enough to move the whole sandbed like I mentioned earlier. I was only able to get one out. All the other ones were gone. I took a bunch of pics, only one or two were able to "focus," but I have to finish the water change before I post them -- the mangrove roots will dry out and get stunted if I dick around too long. also have a few misc pix of the crab and fish https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TdaM5Mv-TTo

alright so the majority of pics came out as blurry crap, especially the first few when the thing had its head out. This particular one is a lot smaller than the others, but it's not the smallest one in there. But here it is: I was taking pics as fast as it would go. After being totally out it was completely buried in and invsable within 5-10 seconds. once it started digging it was fast as gently caress. Next water change I'll try to find more Heres a bonus crab: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TdaM5Mv-TTo

Sweet crab. As far as the other deep sea hell beasts lurking in your tank, they look and sound like one of the 'pods, probably an amphipod or isopod. Should be harmless sand dwelling buddies that eat fish poop.

Holy poo poo you weren't lying. Also I was expecting goaste as a long con here. E: I knoww what you haveeeeee! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4NmcXUN9iw4 Does / did it look like this? If so you have a russian death worm. It'll kill everything in your tank https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WuHd_cP7FeY There it is murdering some shrimp. Looks like that in the adult stage. Its a planaria (not actually a russian death worm) they're hard to get rid of cause you cant squish or cut them up. Or this happens: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vXN_5SPBPtM So heres how to get rid of them: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=saU7S2ybskw Al Borland fucked around with this message at 11:19 on Oct 15, 2014 |

*---RIP DWIGHT--* | 2014 --- 2014 | |you were a good| |fish but hosed| |too often and a| | 'lil too gay. | I like to drink coffee and look @ the fish, and I usually leave the mug out next to the tank like a goony slob. Well, I went to make a pot and he was in there covered with coffee dust and mummified. I don't know if it was suicide or some other aquarium denizen made it look like he jumped. Goodbye Dwight. You loved to bang out the females and you really seemed to enjoy biting Tyrone's dick fin. There will be no calling hours, he'd prefer a quiet, private burial in the traditions of his ancestors. No. I only practice safe sex. Do you have one of those shrimps that do a supersonic clicking with their claw to stun their prey? Because those things are awesome. If not, maybe you have something stuck in the filter. e. Also please join the 21st century and get a camera.
