Yahoo .6 PPR 14-Team I need to select 1 RB and 1 Flex RB: Sproles @ Ind Stacey @ TB I'm thinking Sproles with the uncertain situation with the Rams offense, which is hard since I like Stacey. FLEX: Wright vs Dal Hurns @ Was Allen vs Sea West vs NO Wheaton @ Bal Brown @ NYG I'm leaning Wright due to the PPR and his high amount of targets but was thinking about Hurns with Shorts out. Normally I would look at Allen but DSAS.

Why do you say that even though he got me 8 points last week and is projected to get me 14?

I own Joique Bell and Doug Martin. I've heard Reggie Bush might be limited this week, and Martin may be either hurt or in the doghouse. Which would you slot in your Flex if you were me? I mean, I have Keenan Allen, Jarrett Boykin and Torrey Smith as well on my bench, but I'm not particularly sold on any of them this week. Allens up again the Seahawks, Smith is playing tonight and I have no idea of what Boykin will do.

So tell me what to do with my Flex/RB2 spots please. Currently have Terrance West in RB2, and DeAndre Hopkins in flex. My other options are Chris Johnson and Darren Sproles. My thinking is Andre Johnson is semi hurt, so manybe Hopkins has a big day vs Jacksonville. Also I have McCoy and don't know if starting both Philly RB's is smart, but I feel like Indy is a good matchup for them. Chris Johnson I have no idea about, the Packers might be able to get after Geno Smith and jump up to a big lead and make NY's run game useless. That's my worry there. I might be over thinking. Tell me what to do here please.

Busy Bee posted:First year playing FF and still learning the basics. Any advice on who I should start / bench for week 2? Thinking of switching Forsett to RB position and putting a WR in the Flex slot. Just a tip (irrelevant to the specific players in your situation), but you don't want to flex any player with a thursday game. Your case is actually a good example though. If you play Forsett as a flex tonight and Reggie Bush were to announce on Sunday morning that his knee is no good and he won't be playing, then you're stuck filling in a replacement for Bush which would have to be a RB, of which you have none to spare. Instead, if you play Forsett as RB2 and Bush as Flex then you'd have freedom on Sunday to put in a RB or WR for your last minute decision. This has nothing to do with who out of Forsett/Bush should be playing, but rather that it gives you some options in the rare situations where it's necessary.

I have Gerhart, Sankey, Richardson, Bell, and Forsett. The best players on the FA pool are Green, Bradshaw, Blount, McFadden, and Stewart. I'm starting Forsett because every other option seems worse to me...I guess Bell/Gerhart is the soundest choice, but I just have a hard time believing in Gerhart or Bell this week.

Busy Bee posted:Why do you say that even though he got me 8 points last week and is projected to get me 14? Compare the projections of all of your receivers to Yahoo's Week 2 WR rankings here. http://sports.yahoo.com/news/week-2-rankings--wide-receivers-165226334.html It projects Avery to have 14 points, Djax to have 8, and Tate to have 6. Yet the rankings have DJax as the WR 32, Tate as WR 36, and Avery as WR 70. How can this be? It's because Yahoo's single game projections are absolute poo poo and don't make any sense at all! The rankings are only slightly less useless, although they at least combine the opinions of several people to form the rankings. Avery's 8 pts last week will likely be his high for the season. Dwayne Bowe is coming back and the Chiefs will likely try to run the ball more from here on out.

With DeAngelo Williams likely out this week, Stewart is a fantastic play, and is a hell of a lot better than Forsett. So is Gerhart. I'd even seriously consider Bell over Forsett, even with that rough matchup. Forsett is a massive, massive risk. The coaches have made two things very clear this week- Pierce will get another chance to carry the mail, and all three of Pierce, Forsett, and Taliaferro will get a chance to do something tonight. Putting your week in the hands of a dude who is the shittiest option in a three-way timeshare is just insane, especially for a Thursday night game (which are always low-scoring affairs).

Gobias Ind. posted:Thanks; that's what I've got right now as well. I hate to bench Hunter against that Cowboys D though... Its probably really close between the two. I don't think there is any question that Hunter will get catches or CJ2K will get rushing yards in their matchups. My only concern with Hunter is that we have only seen one game so far this year and in his rookie season he had limited targets/receptions and only 4 TD's. I would be more comfortable starting him after seeing a couple more games. Although I guess if there is any time to start him, its against that Dallas D, whoof.

McCoy is my RB1 but I need to choose an RB2... Joique Bell @Car - Bush may be restricted this week and I rank Bell pretty highly but Carolina's run defense is pretty stout. Toby Gerhart @Was - Questionable (Ankle) - I drafted him in the 7th round, value was too good there. I don't like this offense at all and rank him quite low - everyone else seems to be high on him though. Jeremy Hill vs Atl - A great matchup but his use last week was awful and I don't really trust *coach speak* after getting burned by Spiller last year. Pierre Thomas, Shone Green, Chris Ivory & James Starks are all free agents -- the only bench player I'm willing to part with is Malcolm Floyd but I'm not in love with any of the available players. Can someone convince me not to start Bell
