I recently tried an apple that was imported from the UK and holy poo poo what have I been missing out on? Can any Britgoons who are knowledgable about agriculture explain why your fruit tastes so much better? I honestly don't think I can ever go back to American apples because all I taste now when biting into one is wet sandpaper.

Envy apples seem pretty new around my area and they are loving tits, so sweet! I do agree I made the mistake of grabbing a couple red delicious last time I was at a Walmart and threw all those out after the first bite...

uyeah when i lived in europe and uk and saw how much they put into giving people actual quality food to pick from with free range and organic etc it was like... woah we actually do live in a Idiocracy esque capitalistic wasteland but nobody cares cuz we dumb and know no better its taboo to want to eat poo poo not to want to get something not doused in preservatives and chemicals

I don't understand all the hate red delicious gets, it's the only apple I like. They are sweet and tasty, in my experience. Maybe I just don't like my apples to be so goddamn juicy that when I bite into them juice goes loving everywhere.

it depends where you get it. in the case of apples, the best apples i've gotten i bought directly from orchards. a lot of apples are packed in a box with some kind of weird gas in it that allows you to store the apples for years sometimes. most of them are imported to the us from south america and they're pretty flavorless compared to a real apple that you get here. honeycrisp is the dopest apple that's come around for a while and i think they're mostly grown in washington.
