I've been doing judo for 10 years and mma for 3 years and my parents have never seen me practice or cared jack about it and I have great parents and I have good relationships with them. If I played piano or something they would be extremely interested. If the activity itself isn't interesting to a person, then it isn't, but you can still love your kid to death. Though if you see a person who is really good at something it's always awesome to see him/her perform, no matter if you don't care about the thing itself. So Onoda is gonna blow her mom's mind.
