just tossing around a few ideas this morning guys, trying to think of ways to spice up the forum, and here is what i came up with....WHAT YA THINK Who's who? periodically everyones user names and avs get changed to be identical for a short time..... this will help people strengthen their posting styles.. be more identifiable Haulin out th' trash every weekend, at a specific time (this can be decided later) all threads with less than 2 pages are deleted. theads with no replies are deleted and the posters permabanned the' dirty dozen 12 high profile posters are chosen and locked into a special forum that only they can post in. others can vote on who the worst poster is. after one week the worst poster is permabanned th' final ban forums deleted.

AV Contests Instead of purchasing a custom AV being the only way to get one, goons should also be able to win them through participation in games of chance or skill. Casual Friday Goons should be allowed one day to "let their hair down" so to speak. No idea what that would entail. Pardons on holidays On holy days, Lowtax should address the populace from the balcony of his imperial palace and pardon one permabanned poster to demonstrate his magnanimity. Scorpion extermination We should all get together and do something about the mysterious scorpion infestation that plagues the home of every Goon. If we all work together I'm sure we can get them cleaned out in no time. Custom skins Goons should be allowed to purchase custom site skins so they can feel like they're expressing their individuality even though no one else will see the custom skin or care. Be nicer to people I love posting on SA, but one thing that sometimes ruins the experience for me is all the negative and sarcastic people. I don't know where they all come from but it's certainly not the right attitude to have on an anime message board. My advice to them is to follow the golden rule and remember we're all here to have fun.

I said it before and I'll say it again: a thread from a subforum, say the Criterion Collection thread in CD, get moved here for a short time. It could be done with votes or at a mods digression. Sometimes a thread just needs some shakin up.

musical lairs all accounts are locked from posting in the subforum with their highest post count and must maintain avg daily posts in a randomly chosen subforum. or you get locked out of your fave forum but u can go into the others. the cycle repeats every 1st of the month. encourages stepping out of our little bubbles, learning more about the goon world, sharing ideas, self-realization, meeting new goonfolk, etc

Gettin' Gay for 24 hours, once a week, everyone has to make at least one "i'm gay" post anyone who fails to do this has their avatar changed to gay porn,any post they try to make is automatically turned into "i'm gay" (but still looks like the post they meant to make on their own screen) and can only post in FYAD (the change is permanent)

Lowtax hasn't gotten back to me on my Goon of the Month idea. Wouldn't that be fun. The mods vote on a goon and then he's featured all over the site with a short bio and maybe a quote from the mods favorite post. GOON OF THE MONTH!
