Philosopher King posted:So what is the multiplayer like on this? I haven't seen anything regarding it. As someone who has played through a good portion of Legend mode in co-op, I can safely say that it's awesome. One person plays on the gamepad, the other plays on the TV using either a wiimote+nunchuk or a pro controller. P1 is still limited to whatever characters you can pick for that mission, but P2 can pick whoever out of the characters you've unlocked. Weird thing though--it'll just spawn an "extra" copy of that character for them to play as. So if the mission includes Link and Impa, and P1 plays as Link, and P2 picks Impa, there will still be a CPU-controlled Impa helping you out in addition to your friend running around as Impa. Aside from that, you can do co-op in literally any mode afaik, just make sure P2 hits + to join in when you're on the character select screen. The only limitation is that you can't both pick the same character. EDIT: Oh also my NNID is XAdmiralMundane. Xad fucked around with this message at 21:21 on Sep 29, 2014 |

LordHippoman posted:As a tip for Legend Mode, since I was an idiot and got killed a lot on this part, when you revisit the Temple of Souls and Volga is enchanted with Cia's dark power , DON'T RUSH HIM. Let Zelda finish talking to him first and he becomes much easier. Otherwise he'll take out most of your health in a single combo. Aha, I figured it was supposed to be Zelda. I spent that mission playing as Zelda, so instead Ruto was the one being all important and leader-y, which seemed really weird. I wonder if she had any different dialogue/if that happens with other missions/characters?

LordHippoman posted:Every time I play Lana it is a struggle to find something I like about her. You forgot "SEI NO!" Also Lana's book makes her a Lightning+Parkour master. If you don't like kickflipping off of walls to shoot lightning and make the walls explode then I don't know what to say to you.

Silver Falcon posted:Anybody wanna be a friend and share with me your strategy for Lana's Level 3 Summon Gate unlock mission? (Yes, I'm slow.) Yeah, I just need this weapon and the lv. 3 Great Fairy...and Agitha and Zant's lv. 3s... I got pretty close last night, but I took waaaay too much time, almost 20 minutes I think. I mostly just ran straight to the keep with the fairy in it, then ran back to kill the Gold Cucco, and then ran around killing things and protecting the base before I went to murder the boss. I did take a lot of damage, but I still got an A on damage with about 9k, so I think the threshold for that mission is 10,000 damage? So I guess don't worry too much about damage, if that helps at all?

Excels posted:i guess for x-element-recommended stages sure Also there's the badges that give you super armor (no flinching) for the first 1/2/3 attacks, which are really good to avoid getting combo'd to death by Zelda/other people.

Blackbelt Bobman posted:You'll know when you can unlock it because you get a little thing above the Adventure Map that says "(weapon symbol) COMPLETE!" And in addition to that question, do you need to do the level 2 missions in adventure mode, too? I think with Ganondorf and Impa's naginata I skipped those and went straight to the level 3 weapons.

Alacron posted:Just did one of the Giant missions as Agitha, mostly went well until King Dodongo came out. It wasn't that he was hard, he just had some much health that I had to do around 7 weakpoint smashes before he went down. Yeah, that happened to me in that forest mission where you have to escort the cucco chick and then fight a Dodongo after beating up Ruto. I was a level 70something Great Sky Fairy and it took waaaay too many weakpoint smashes to kill him. I figured I was just underleved for the Termina map since I know a lot of people in the thread were saying the Twilight Princess one requires higher levels, so maybe Termina assumes you're an even higher level, but maybe they're just really really tanky Dodongos for some reason?

Kurui Reiten posted:It keeps things open and available for the inevitable sequel, too. Already did most of the OoT/TP/SS rep stuff in this game? Great, let's just put them on the roster to start with, and focus on WW/4S/LttP or whatever! Oh man, the Four Sword as a weapon for Young Link would be amazing. I need this.
