Had a go at fixing your proportions with by overlaying some 3d-shapes in Illustrator, then took it over in Photoshop and got kinda carried away. I know you called it done, but maybe it can be some help for your next one. Well spurred on by that I decided to give it a go-over to add some more highlights and shadows: I'm not gonna mess with it too much more but it does look better now. Thanks for the feedback.
