 Since everyone has been clamoring for a War and Peace thread, I thought I'd make one up. War and Peace, at it's core, is a story about a man and his dog. Additionally, it's a story about men and war and loving vapid bitches and the human condition. Controversially,  Napoleon did nothing wrong and was actually a pretty cool dude that even the Russian cool dude character in the book looked up to.Share your thoughts about War and Peace!

As far as bloated books around the Naopeolonic Wars go, I was partial to Les Miserables. War and Peace was OK though, its 1400 pages or so, but only "seems" like 1200-1300 imho.
