i remember reading a thing by one of the guys who made simtower and he said the hardest thing to research for it was how elevators work because no company wanted to reveal their trade secrets or something

real talk: i could never get higher than 82 floors. partly because the sims wouldn't take more than a couple elevators, and partly because they told me I couldn't place anymore stairs, elevators, or escalators. what the poo poo is that?
