the game has been live for a short while as the early adopters were helping test and stuff in yospos IRC the other two games Lord 2 and 3 will be reset to clean slatetonight at 6MDT, lord 1 tho gonna keep the grip of people who've already been on it luckily there's no slaughter mode or anything, tougher players cant kill lower players etc. Sniep fucked around with this message at 19:57 on Oct 7, 2014 |

killing people around your level is the only way to really advance in level efficiently. forest fightings not going to do it. this isnt to you bsd boys but to everyone else trying to level up to the point the game gets more fun

Especially when you hit 8/9/10.

ya. hotel stays are there so that you can't get popped by anyone being a jerk, it's worth it and as you get up past the very first couple levels the price doesnt really go up, so it becomes nearly meaninglessly cheap to do. don't sleep in the forest or else you're defenseless

I wonder if they block telnet or something. well, you can't block "telnet" per-se, its about the most basic form of network communication that exists. just a open socket practically. but they can block ports, not sure why they would not let you out on 219 but .. . you are using port 219 and not the default of 23, right?

Tusen Takk posted:yeup okay lets see if you can get out on port 219 at all, i just put up a dumb daemon on port 219 that just echos back text and pastes it to me so start > run > cmd or open terminal.app if on a mac, then type telnet yospos.net 219 and then A) see if it connects and B) if it echos back what you babble into it like this:  and report back... (PS nobody else try this the daemon will bind to you and isnt multithreaded its like 5 lines of python so leave it for tusen takk)
