So a little backstory to start things off: I've been a big fan of Final Fantasy Tactics ever since the first release on the PSX. Back when the Lion War was still called the Lion War, none of this War Of The Lions bullshit for me. I got into the modding scene a fair bit in recent years, the balance patches, custom stories, etc, etc, and had fun with those, too. But I wanted to take the experience further. Then it hit me: A fully functional LARP version of Final Fantasy Tactics' battle system. It was perfect - I'd finally be able to live out these epic battles in real life. Already in my head I was working out ways to calculate height and algorithms for calculating who'd be hit by a Calculator's Fira Lvl Prime spell on the fly. So I got some friends together, (Also fans of FFT, natch, lol) and we hacked together a fairly loving tight rules system. The next day, we met up at the local park, and did the trial run.
