Really hosed up and stupid monsters from asia are the best. The Pannengolan(sp?)! appearing to be an ordinary human by day, at night its head (with spinal cord and organs still somehow attached) flies free to strangle and feast on the head of another victim, whose body it uses for disguise.  The Tikbalang! stalks mountain trails and abuses, beats and mugs travelers but rarely kills. It's a hooligan monster.  The Jiang Shi! China's equivalent to the vampire, rigor mortis and embalming prevent them from moving properly, so they cope by hopping everywhere. Unable to cross any door with a raised threshold however.  The Kappa! A gross turtle guy who hides in streams and likes to drown the unsuspecting passerby. Their hollow skull holds a small amount of water which, if spilled, kills them.
